At Busy, we believe that every brand has a unique story to tell. Our collaboration with Efendy, a renowned restaurant led by celebrity chef Somer Sivrioğlu, is a testament to our passion for weaving compelling visual narratives that captivate and inspire. Efendy is a local restaurant inspired by the traditional Anatolian cuisine. Serves delicious food with a contemporary presentation using only seasonal and local produce. We share Efendy’s passion for food and habit of doing things differently so Chef Somer Sivrioğlu’s perspective and our similar approach to life collided for this venue.
Efendy offers an exquisite dining experience, where the rich flavors of Turkish cuisine meet the artistry of a master chef. To capture the essence of this culinary adventure, our team drew inspiration from the Traditional Turkish Handicrafts, Lithography. To bring our vision to life, we enlisted the talents of Asuman Tanyaş, a gifted illustrator with a deep understanding of Turkish art of lithography. Working closely with Asuman, we crafted one-of-a-kind illustrations influenced by ancient Anatolian culture. In addition to Asuman Tanyaş, we collaborated with Can Mete, an accomplished photographer who expertly captured the essence of Efendy's unique dining experience. Through Can's lens, each dish and interior space became a work of art, further enhancing the restaurant's visual storytelling.
We ensured that the visual elements combining traditional and modern reflect simple beauty in essence, in the same way that the stories of the dishes served in the restaurant. The result was designs that bear traces of the past, reflect the present and look to the future with hope.
